DAY 01| KOLKATA TO VARANASI (D)

Welcome to INDIA “Land of Vibrant Culture”!!!
Your India tour begins upon your arrival at Kolkata airport. From Kolkata airport board your flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative at Varanasi airport who will take you to your hotel. Check-in at hotel and rest of the day at leisure. If you reach at your hotel before 1800 Hrs so you may also opt to visit for Ganga Aarti event. Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.

DAY 02| VARANASI CITY TOUR (B+D)

After early morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the sightseeing city tour of the holy city ‘Varanasi’ that is all about mythological temples and spot. We suggest you visit some of the finest temples of this holy city which are situated on the shore of the river Ganga. Apart from that explore the city, later visit Sarnath Temple it is a small holy township, about 10kms from Varanasi. It is a historic place where Lord Buddha gave its first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Here we will visit excavated site having Dhamek Stupa, Dharmarajika Stupa, Ashoka pillar, building bases, etc. Also, visit the Sarnath Museum. In addition to this, there are many new Buddhist and Jain temples are there. In the evening proceed to attend a very famous event of this holy city “The Ganga Aarti”. It is related to the religious faiths of people. This is an event where you can see the spirituality and the holiness of river Ganga. After the Aarti as you want you will come back to the hotel or spend some time on the shore of Ganga to feel the versatility and the wave’s sound of the river.

DAY 03| VARANASI TO BODHGAYA (B+D)

After early morning breakfast, check-out from your hotel and embark of a drive to Bodhgaya.
Bodhgaya (also written Bodh Gaya) in north-eastern India is the site of the Buddha’s enlightenment and the most important of four main Buddhist pilgrimage destinations known as Uruvela in the Buddha’s time. The two major sacred sites in Bodhgaya are the Mahabodhi Temple and the Bodhi Tree, around which many other temple and monasteries of various Buddhist traditions (Japanese, Tibetan, Bhutanese, Vietnamese, Thai, and others) have been built. Every year, millions of Buddhist pilgrims, mainly from Asian countries, flock to Bodhgaya to be inspired, despite negative karma and earn merit by visiting the holy site where the Buddha became Buddha (“Enlightened one”).
Visit Mahabodhi Temple and drive to Neranchara River, Sujata Village. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel in Bodhgaya.

DAY 04| BODHGAYA CITY TOUR (B+D)

After early morning gets ready for a full day city tour of Bodh Gaya. "Bodh Gaya is the place where Gautama Buddha attained unsurpassed, supreme Enlightenment. It is a place which should be visited or seen by a person of devotion and which would cause awareness and apprehension of the nature of impermanence".
Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha-to-be, had been dwelling on the banks of the Niranjana River with five ascetic followers for six years practicing austerities. Realizing that austerities could not lead to the realization he abandoned them. His five ascetic companions disgusted at his seeming failure deserted him and left for Sarnath. Visit Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Pragbodhi Caves, and Thai Temple, etc.
Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 05 - 06|BODHGAYA – RAJGIR – NALANDA – PATNA TO KATHMANDU (B+D)

Recharge yourself with a healthy breakfast and check-out from your hotel. Proceed for a sightseeing tour of Rajgiri and Nalanda. Rajgir was the capital of the Magadh Empire until Ajatshatru moved it to Pataliputra (Patna) in the 5th century BC. Rajgir is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site as Buddha had spent 12 years here and the first Buddhist council after the Buddha attained Nirvana was held here. Visit Ajatshatru’s fort, Venuvana, Swarna Bhandar, the Cyclopean wall. Visit the Peace Pagoda on the chair lift.
Rajgir sightseeing Includes Gridhkuth Mountain, Venuvan, Hot Spring, Jivaka Amravan, Bimbisar Jail.
Lunch at Local Restaurant in Rajgir. After lunch proceeds for Nalanda University.
Nalanda founded in 5th century BC, was one of the world’s great universities. Visit the remains of the brick-built Great Stupa and local archeological museum.
After lunch drive to Patna to board your flight to Kathmandu...

Next morning arrival at Kathmandu. It’s a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day - the views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time - Drive 5 ½ - 06 hours and approximately 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu Spend the day visiting the local area – Night stay at hotel/resort in Kathmandu

Day 07|SIGHTSEEING AROUND KATHMANDU (B+D)

After early morning breakfast – Guest start the sightseeing tour in few major places in Kathmandu - Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Kathmandu durbar square - Swoyambhunath nearly 2500-year old site believed that the Radiant Lotus of the valley settled when the water was drained by Manjushree, the God of Wisdom - (Non-Hindus are not allowed inside Swayambhunath temple) - Boudhanath the world’s largest stupa of Tibetan Buddhist Culture - Visit of Pashupati Nath - the holiest shrines for Hindus – It is the holiest Temple for Hindus dedicated to Lord Shiva, is also a site for Hindu cremation - Afternoon visit to Kathmandu durbar square, Hanuman Dhoka,
the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machhender Bahl –Holy place for the Buddhists and Hindus, Temple House of Kumari, the vestal virgin or the living goddess – Bhaktapur City - The UNESCO World Heritage Site, An ancient town and the medieval city of devotees -Evening free to stroll around the local bazaars - Night stay at hotel / resort in Kathmandu.

Day 08| DEPARTURE TO ONWARD DESTINATION (B)

Return home with wonderful memories of your holiday.
This morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport as your memorable tour comes to an end. Arrive home with pleasant memories of your “Fulfilled INDIA” tour.
